This service is a simple model for infusing instructional coaching into your school’s instructional environment. We will provide professional learning opportunities using best instructional practices that are specifically designed to include time for teachers to plan implementation in their classrooms. Everything that is learned and planned in the professional learning sessions is supported 1:1, coach to teacher, at the classroom level. Coaches support your teachers’ efforts in a non-evaluative hands-ons on manner that will improve their instructional practices and positively affect student learning. Depending upon the number of teachers 2 – 4 coaches will work with your teachers in creating an instructionally rich environment which is conducive to the expectations of preparing students for college and career readiness.

Coaching 7

This coaching package has 1 coach who supports up to 7 teachers and lasts for a duration of 6 weeks. Package services include:

  • 2 initial planning sessions, for a total of 3 hours, to determine the specific needs of the teacher and finalize the calendar/schedule for classroom visitations.
  • 3 full day, or 6 half day, professional learning sessions that address the instructional needs of your staff. Professional learning is designed to focus on critical classroom skills and instructional strategies that are agile enough to be implemented in any grade, with any curriculum, and across any content area. Instructional practice topics may vary; however, our recommendation would be to choose one focus that is explored at a deep level. Each session provides teachers with ample time to plan how they will implement the practice and provides the coach with a plan of action for supporting the teacher in the classroom.
  • The coach will provide each teacher with on-site support, twice each week for a total of 10 days of non-evaluative instructional coaching.
  • Each week, the coach will meet with teachers to debrief what took place during the week and discuss next steps.

Coaching 14

This coaching package has 2 coaches who support up to 14 teachers and lasts for a duration of 6 weeks. Package services include:

  • 2 initial planning sessions, for a total of 3 hours, to determine the specific needs of the teacher and finalize the calendar/schedule for classroom visitations.
  • 3 full day (or 6 half day) professional learning sessions that address the instructional needs of your staff.
